          Our initiatives of the "Nesting Island Maintenance" and the "Toad Taxi" have been put into an international EU4OCEAN competition.

          I chose these:
           
          Study the Marine Litter Dispersion
          - student initiative from Italy which monitors the sea currents by tracking a heap of drifting litter via gps 
          Costal Code for the Bay of Santander
          - local initiative in Santander (Spain) of creating a code for responsible use of their beautiful bay
          Healthy Fish in clean seas, healthy people and green economy
          - school initiative from Anthousa (Greece) focused on learning about the life of fishermen, the craft of fishing and fish food preparation
          Refill Cyprus
          - local initiative in Cyprus promoting the repeated usage of plastic by collecting plastic bottles and refilling them with filtered water or liquid cosmetics on newly built "re-filling stations"
          WE ARE ON THE SAME BOAT
          - this is our project from Senica - vote for it, please :) - we focus on direct help to nesting birds and migrating amphibians organizing an off-season "Nesting Island Maintenance" for water and sea birds and running a "Toad Taxi" offering help to migrating amphibians from under the car tyres
          Revolution is in the Hair
          - local initiative from Strasbourg which uses the hair and fur collected form hairdressers and animal care centers to produce alternative cleaning tools from this collected waste.

          Good News:
           
          Thanks to our involvement in learning about and offering direct help to the water environment, our school has become part of European Blue Schools Network - an open initiative supporting education towards blue economy and blue literacy at schools.
